Our Season

April - September: Salmon, Halibut and Lingcod

August - October: Albacore Tuna

November - March: Off-peak rates available for winter Chinook, Crabbing and Prawning

How To Get Here & Where To Stay

If you prefer fast and efficient travel when booking salmon fishing trips, Air Canada and Pacific Coastal Airlines offer daily direct flights to Haida Gwaii (YZP) from Vancouver International Airport (YVR). All flights are less than two hours from gate to gate.

For guests seeking a scenic adventure, BC Ferries provides routes from Port Hardy (Vancouver Island) as well as Prince Rupert, both of which conveniently arrive at our doorstep. We highly recommend making reservations, especially during our busy tourist season.

Haida Gwaii, formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands, stands as a premier destination for unparalleled salmon, halibut, and tuna fishing, attracting anglers from around the globe. These islands serve as a significant intersection for the migration paths of millions of salmon and tuna each year. The pristine waters surrounding Haida Gwaii provide an ideal habitat for these prized species, with nutrient-rich currents and a unique marine ecosystem contributing to their abundance. Each day, we will embark on a scenic journey through Skidegate Narrows, flanked by lush coastal greenery and rugged mountains that open up to the Pacific Ocean on the west side of the islands.

Terms and Conditions

Currency and Additional Charges: All listed prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Prices do not include gratuity or Goods and Services Tax (5% GST).
Deposits and Payments for Single-Day Charters:
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure a booking for single-day charters.
- The full payment must be completed prior to the departure of the trip.
Deposits and Payments for Multi-Day Fishing Trips:
- Multi-day fishing trips require a non-refundable deposit of 50%. This deposit may be applied to future bookings if needed.
- Full payment for salmon and halibut trips must be made on or before May 1st of the trip season.
- Full payment for tuna trips must be completed by June 1st of the trip season.
Cancellation and Refunds for Multi-Day Trips:
- The final payment for multi-day trips is refundable provided a cancellation notice is received at least two weeks before the start date of the trip.
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen changes or cancellations.
